Aspects to keep in mind when going abroad

Each year, there is an increased number of Colombian students who decide to go to another country to study English or a career. All this for the purpose of finding a better quality of life and a prosperous future. There are different aspects that people should keep in mind when going abroad like food, language, customs , people, anomg others. In this essay I will explain some important aspects for going abroad.

First of all, it is fundamental that anyone know the language of the country to which he or she is going to go, for example: if you go to France you should speak and understand french or if you go to Japan you should speak japanese or at least to know English that is the universal language. Many people have had difficulties with people of other countries because they don´t understand what other people want to say. Then, they feel them discriminated, but also there are people have obtained adapt oneself to culture of other country and they feel them happy.

Second, when a person going to abroad he or she should know the customs of country like for example their holiday days, way of wear , their religion, which typical food, etc. becuase, but person will suffer a culture shock. Each country have his customs for example in Colombia exist different holiday days, the majority are fairs and carnivals, in colombia el 80% of colombians are catholics, also people wear of formal way in the week and in the weekend of informal way.

Third, it has all the papers in rule to the moment to go on the outside and on having returned to origin country like the visa, the passport, the tourist's assurance. Also, people must not exceed the time of stay in the country is to say, if a person has permission to be 6 moths in the country must fulfill them and if she wants to be more time to do the necessary steps to renew the time. Besides, other aspect to keep in mind when going to abroad is to respect the laws of the country for it is important also to know that is allowed and that not. For example, in USA is allowed to drive to 120 km/h in Colombia only is allowed to drive to 80 km/h.

Finally, principal aspects to keep in mind when going to abroad are language, customs, laws of country, like this, you will can travel and be in aborad laid-back enjoing and learning about all differents places, know many people without any problem.
