Values in a good leader

The values are moral characteristics that every person possesses. According to Real Academia Española, values are possitive qualities that anyone have to develop a certain activity. In any company or group is neccessary has a good leader for be able to the objectives satisfactorily and for it is necessary that the leaders have certain values as the prudence, the humility, the fortress, the equity, the diligence, the friendship and the veracity.
First, a good leader must be prudent, beacuse he must be sensible with what he say, to whom it is said and in that moment. Second, a leader must be humble,it is important that leader accept his qualities but also his defects and third he must be just, to give to every person what corresponds to them. In Colombia in this moment the 50% of the great leaders are young professional that have these values. They have their companies or are who manage projects significant for the future of the company at which it is employed according to a statistic done by the Dane in the principal cities of the country.
Others important values for a good leader are the friendship and the veracity. Juan Javier Alvarez, International consultant in Management, with regard to the friendship say that leader is sociable, good communicator and charismatic, besides, the leader shares feelings emotionally with the others, adapting to his speakers in the way and in the form in which they prefer being treated. It values and respects the opinions and foreign feelings, at par of promoting an opened and sincere dialog, on the other hand, Juan Carlos Vazquez, Teacher of Accounting and Control, and Managerial Ethics of the IESE, University of Navarra, say that a leader must be responsable before the given word and the acquired commitment moreover, he must say always the truth over everything.
A good leader to find and to be able to identify it are not easy tasks, precisely because the persons better qualified for it do not have why to show with a view to the exterior the above mentioned capacity of obvious or clear form. The best leaders do not need to demonstrate that they are. According to Cris Bolivar, Consulting, forming, coach and Manager of Cris Bolivar Consulting say that the numerous investigations in the area of the psychology and the professional development and the current theories of management and leadership demostrate that the key is not in innate factors, but in the emotional competitions, which are competitions suceptibles of being developed in the measure in which it is wished really. Therefore to manage to be a good leader the only thing that needs is to want to be a good leader.
In conlusion, the values in a leader are many, nevertheless, become a good leader is not easy since the degree of responsibility that has is enormous not only with himself but also with the society and the company, for that reason, who want be leader must have much values but also much qualities, skills, knowledge and the most important is want to be.
